About Dr. Ridley

Dr. Martin Ridley has over thirty years of orthopedic experience. He received his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Utica College in New York. He is also a graduate of Mercy College, having earned a Masters degree in Physical Therapy and a B.S degree in Health Sciences.

Dr. Ridley began his career working with collegiate athletes as a licensed physical therapy assistant, and progressed to providing rehabilitation to professional athletes shortly thereafter. Dr. Ridley has also worked with professional dancers connected to major New York City dance companies including the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Merce Cunningham dance company.

Dr. Ridley has spent the last twenty years in private practice and his career has allowed him to work in many different disciplines and settings, with many patient populations ranging from children to aging adults. His diverse experience has provided invaluable tools for comprehensive therapy and healing - he is guided by high standards of care with a focus on engaging with his patients to achieve optimal mobility and healing. 

Dr. Ridley is committed to lifelong learning and giving back to the physical therapy profession. He has recently completed training in advanced neuromuscular taping techniques and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques (IASTM). He regularly works with students in the physical therapy field and provides professional insight to those in the early stages of their careers. 

Note: Dr. Ridley accepts some commercial insurance plans out of network as a NON-PARTICIPATING provider so you may be subject to a deductible. He does accept Medicare.
